Motto

The motto of the ACI-Impact Club takes inspiration from the historic motto of the American Collegiate Institute:

“Enter to Learn, Depart to Serve.”

By adding “Collaborate to Impact,” the club preserves the school’s spirit while emphasizing its mission to create social change through collaboration.

MISSION

Mission

ACI-Impact guides high school students in developing social impact projects, supporting them in turning their ideas into real-world solutions. The club provides knowledge, experience, and opportunities that strengthen their growth as changemakers.

Vision

Our vision is to inspire and empower the next generation of changemaker leaders, beginning at the American Collegiate Institute and reaching out to the world. By carrying forward the school’s legacy, we aim to build a culture where students not only learn and serve, but also collaborate to create lasting social impact.

FOUNDATION
STORY

Foundation Story

I discovered competitions, projects, and international programs early in my high school years, and they gave me unforgettable opportunities, friendships, and awards. Each experience opened the door to new ones, through the people I met in these communities and the connections I built on LinkedIn.
It was in these spaces that I learned how to design and lead social impact projects. Along the way, I also faced challenges, but every step taught me something valuable.
I founded ACI-Impact so that my younger peers at the American Collegiate Institute can start their own journeys with guidance, confidence, and support, enjoying the opportunities I had, while avoiding some of the struggles I faced.

CLUB
PRESIDENCY

Club Presidency

The presidency of ACI-Impact is entrusted to an 11th grade student each year. By this stage, students have usually gained valuable experience through projects, awards, and international programs, making them well-prepared to guide others. Since 12th grade is a year focused on college applications, 11th graders are in the best position to share what they have learned and support younger students in Prep, 9th, and 10th grades, as they begin their own journeys. In this way, the presidency becomes not only a leadership role, but also a tradition of mentorship and knowledge transfer, ensuring that every generation benefits from the experiences of the one before.
